The purpose University - Industry Collaboration Unit is:
- To contribute transformation of scientific potential of university into industry to create new or better products,
- To direct industrial firms in the region to R & D and innovation, and to establish a communication channel between academicians and industry for sustainable cooperation based on mutual trust,
- To ensure the active participation of academics and regional industrial firms in TÜBİTAK University - Industry cooperation support programs,
- To ensure that industrial organizations develop their R & D activities in a way that benefit more from national and international grants and support programs,
- To direct industry representatives to the right academicians who has expertise in the subject and to provide consultancy services to them,
- To conduct analysis from the information obtained during regular industrial visits to identify regional industry problems,
- To provide services related to the contract management, legal consultancy and financial follow-up during the project implementation
